How this post will be used on March 20th from 6pm, Japan time

Wwill be actively working through this blog to organize MBAs and others willing to volunteer all around the world to truly make a difference for those affected by this terrible tragedy.

We are meeting to bring together MBAs and other volunteers who wish to contribute to helping those affected by the earthquake. We will discuss the following topics:

  • If you are interested in being part of MBA and Company 's projecteMBrAce. They are setting up a project for MBAs to work with large charities to assist in Japan Earthquake assistance. Possibility of small payment like an internship. Send resume to info@catalystmaster.com with subject line "eMBrAce" (Must be MBA for this project)
  • How to raise donations. Which charity is best to get the donations directly to Those suffering from the Japan Earthquake. Criteria would be trusted, percentage of our donations getting to Japan, Organizations that are based in Japan, transparency.
  • MBAs on the front lines. Volunteering for charities in Japan.
  • How we can assist in getting large organizations to donate blankets, clothes, etc.(ie. Recycle shops or thrift stores donating their winter clothes to charities) Thats a win win for them as they write off the donation on something they wouldnt be able to sell until next year.

Looking forward to hearing from you on these topics and more from 6pm(Japan Time)

Bracelet project

One idea is to get those cheap rubber bracelets used for many different causes and get large organizations like 7/11 to make them available to the public.  This is a large scale project so we would need a good amount of volunteers and people serious about getting it done.
Thoughts on this?
